Yeliz began to love drawing in her mid-twenties and realised that she was quite good. She had always wanted to do something creative, however, she was unsure how or what. For some time Yeliz assisted in a Tattoo Parlour, drew for friends and then one day she drew what we now know as the front cover for her fabulous debut children's book, Flynn's Window. This was inspired by her cat Flynn who seemed to be constantly daydreaming whilst looking out of the window. She mainly draws pen and ink style and she is influenced by Chris Riddell, Alphonse Mucha, Beatrix Potter, John Tenniel, Tim Burton and Dr Zuess. Yeliz writes and Illustrates part-time whilst being a superstar in her day job for a fantastic large company in London, U.K.
